Safi Al Safi founded Minthar Holdings in Riyadh in 2016 with a single conviction: the most credible way to earn market trust is to win publicly. That conviction became the company's operating philosophy — and its competitive record.
Before founding Minthar, Safi competed across oratory, debate, AI, and education technology challenges, representing Riyadh regionally and the Kingdom internationally. He was honored by multiple ministers, the Governor of Riyadh Prince Bandar bin Faisal, and Saudi leadership for his representation of the nation abroad. He won first place across public speaking, debate, AI, and e-learning — more than 41 times at the national and global level.
He is a Misk alumnus and has been a specialist in UX, customer journeys, and venture development since his early career.
Since founding Minthar in 2016, Safi has built a technology holding company that has acquired and invested in 17+ Saudi technology startups. Those companies collectively sustain 40K+ monthly active users across 60+ local institutions in Saudi Arabia. Minthar's portfolio companies hold 16+ first-place outcomes in national and international competitions.
In parallel, Safi has delivered 180+ hours of training and consulting to more than 50 partner organizations in areas spanning UX, entrepreneurship, AI, cybersecurity, and public speaking. He is the founder of Shafra (شفرة), a nonprofit AI initiative, and is currently leading a 2025 program to mentor 1,000 Saudi entrepreneurs through partnership with national training programs.
